The Experience

We are seeking an Account Executive to drive growth within the Nonprofit Sector. In this role, you will partner closely with cross-functional teams within Salesforce, leveraging Salesforce’s capabilities to empower organisations delivering essential services to communities across Australia.

You will be responsible for leading strategic sales engagements, developing deep relationships with key stakeholders, and positioning Salesforce’s solutions to drive meaningful impact within the sector. Your responsibilities will span account planning, lead qualification, deal strategy, negotiation, and closing, with a focus on long-term customer success.

This quota-carrying position is critical to our growth and success within Nonprofit. If you are passionate about the intersection of technology, health and care, eager to work with purpose-driven organisations, and thrive in a collaborative, high-performance environment, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

  • Develop and execute a territory strategy for Nonprofit across Australia, managing the entire sales process from prospecting and pipeline development to negotiation and deal closure.
  • Build and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers across the sector, understanding their priorities, challenges, and regulatory landscape.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Solution Engineers, Product Specialists, Customer Success, Marketing, and Partners, to align go-to-market strategies, deliver tailored solutions, and develop and execute account plans.
  • Drive Salesforce adoption by positioning our products to address workforce management, patient engagement, case management, and digital transformation needs, staying informed on sector trends, government funding models, and procurement cycles, and representing Salesforce at industry events, conferences, and roundtables.

You're Our Person If...

  • Proven experience in enterprise sales, selling SaaS, cloud solutions, or enterprise software in a complex, consultative sales environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Deep knowledge of government procurement processes, tenders, and funding cycles.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, and a proactive, results-driven mindset with a passion for helping organisations deliver better outcomes through technology.
